Testimonial of June Collins, Virtual June, LLC

Friday, May 28th, 2010

My name is June Collins and I am the President of Virtual June, LLC/Media Schmedia.  I became a member of NuBarter because I wanted to take the Fundamentals of Business  class with New Management Solutions.  This class lead me to opportunities that I never dreamed of. One being working the social media campaign for NuBarter in the Forbes Boost Your Business Contest and landing NuBarter in the top 5.  I am presently maintaining NuBarter’s Corporate website, and their social media pages with announcing of events, posting articles, and also posting blogs.    NuBarter has opened a lot of new doors for me in networking and people who I would never have done business with before.  It has also helped me get more clients.  What a concept!

NuBarter Member, Tonia of Diva Dogs’ gives Testimonial

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

I’m Tonia – Owner of Diva Dogs, pet groomer on Habersham and 48th.

I’ve been a member of NuBarter since July 30, 2009.  I met Jacquie the second day I was open.  I didn’t yet have business cards and there were no customers in the salon.  Jacquie told me about NuBarter and I joined that week.  I’m sure glad I did because:

NuBarter has sent me 15 new repeat customers since I joined.  These are customers that would not have come to me if I was not a NuBarter member.

With the trade revenue I received, I went to a chiropractor, Dr. Domanski, that I absolutely love, I got a massage, a tune-up on my car, ate at Sweet Potatoes and Juarez, had my hair done at Hair Bar, took my kids on a Ghost tour and  bought candy at Savannah Sweets.

NuBarter gives me a wide exposure and free advertising online where I can put out special offers to attract new customers.

I love NuBarter and would recommend joining to anyone who wants their business to grow!!!

One of the Best Days of Trading for Me… Ever… in 22 Yrs of Bartering

Friday, June 12th, 2009

I moved today. I’ve used Eddie Bolch and his guys at Specialty Moving at least a half dozen times so that got me started. I would have spent at least $700 for all they did in cash if it weren’t for NuBarter. Then I put a lot of my belongings in storage. I needed 2 spots for all I stored. I used the Store Room on President St. in Savannah. What a great guy Richard Manning is. He even traded out the padlocks. Out of pocket Cash Savings? $175 a month and counting.

When Specialty Moving left at 1 pm today to head to storage, I looked around at the mess and thought to myself, “I wonder if NuBarter has a cleaning service that can take care of this. I left Doug Fent and Gary Field messages and within an hour, Robert Medrano of VIP Cleaning called me and told me he could be at my place at 4 PM to move out. When I got back to the house at 5 pm from the storage facility, Robert and his crew were almost finished. I found Robert to be an extremely pleasant guy and was very impressed with his attention to detail and his eagerness to please a client. The house was spotless.

So I’m done with the moving and it’s an absolute monsoon outside. I was supposed to drive all the way to Charleston tonight for sales calls in the morning. I thought to myself, I wonder if Doug Fent can find me a hotel in Beaufort this late in the day. He called me back and told me he had booked the Rhett House Inn for me. The Rhett House, if you don’t know is a 5 diamond Inn. It’s really cool.. big rooms, sweeping verandas, flat screen tv in the room and they feed you dessert at night (just finished a home made pecan pie) and a Southern Breakfast in the morning.

One other thing, months ago I bought $100 trade dollars for Plums Restaurant in Beaufort. When I was moving today, I cleaned out a drawer and what do you know…$20 for Plums, a 2 block walk from the Rhett House Inn down by the Waterfront.

So I had a Barbeque Chicken Pizza, Wasabi Cole Slaw (unusually delicious for cole slaw…the wasabi gives it a kick) and 2 SweetWater
Ales. My tab? $20.88.

So many thanks to Doug and Gary and the 5 Nubarter members that treated me like a king today.

If you are hesitant to join Nubarter, don’t be. It’s not always this easy, but when you fill some unsold inventory or gain a new client through Nubarter, you are in effect creating a savings account for yourself to have days like I had to day when you have necessary expenses that can be traded. I literally saved over $1500 today. That is super.
